N2 - As a transdisciplinary that integrates the computer sciences and its informatics principles within health sciences in digital health context, and transcends their traditional boundaries, the Health Informatics (HI) core competencies remains of unique discussions in the line work of health professionals. The HI competencies evaluation has been established in February 2022 by the distinguished body of the digital health; the Australasian Institute of Digital Health (AIDH). This AIDH HI new competency framework encompasses the dynamic nature of digital health and the challenges and opportunities it presents. Availing oneself of the new framework, this preliminary study aimed to explores the competencies by utilising the grounded theory to elaborate potential factors between the common medicine science and the aerospace medicine, which departing from what the common medicine science is primarily concerned. The theory examines the relationship between the former and latter to discovers the factors that determining the aerospace HI core competencies from information systems' theory angle. The competencies resulted from this study describes an illustration of the abovementioned relationship toward its core competencies standpoint.
