    Abstract

A new species of the pseudoscorpion genus Pseudotyrannochthonius (family Pseudotyrannochthoniidae) is described from Warrumbungle Range in New South Wales based on morphological features of both males and females. Pseudotyrannochthonius leichhardti sp. nov. is the fourth described species from New South Wales and known only from the type locality. It represents the most inland record of any Pseudotyrannochthonius in Australia. © The State of Queensland, Queensland Museum 2013.
