Abstract

This paper develops general expenditure choice elasticities, suitable for travel and accommodation. Expenditure and quantity choice elasticities are predominantly linear combinations of compensated price elasticities, but expenditure may have an appreciable income component. Generation elasticities are linear combinations of compensated price elasticities, with a small income effect.
