A Data-Driven Web Application for Village Information Management Using the Morphogenetic Approach

This paper explores the development of a datadriven web application for managing village information using the Morphogenetic Approach. The approach is employed to analyze and address the structural and cultural dynamics influencing traditional communities during digital technology adoption. The application aims to address challenges in information dissemination and promote socio-structural transformation in traditional communities. Leveraging the Design Thinking methodology, the resulting platform integrates features such as administrative dashboards, event calendars, and promotional content to enhance the accessibility and usability of village information. A case study conducted in Mekarmaju Village, a traditional craftsmanship center in Bandung Regency with over 240 active blacksmiths, demonstrates the platform's effectiveness in addressing tourism and community engagement challenges. The platform achieved an exceptional System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 89.3, reflecting its usability and potential for broader implementation. This research highlights the role of digital technology in fostering social change and offers a replicable framework for similar initiatives in other village contexts.
