Qualitative research method has widely attracte management scholars' attention in recent years due to its advantages in exploring people's psychological state,behavicr, process and sense making in the natural settings. In doing so, this study hopes to help provide a better understanding of qualitative research paradigm, as well as its characteristics, advantages, research contexts and common methods for indigenous management studies, and to promote the development of qualitative research in indige-nous management studies.
