Abstract
Nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium are three essential nutrients for plant growth and development. Plants mainly absorb nutrients from the soil through roots. The lack of nutrients or unreasonable fertilization will lead to the occurrence of plant root diseases, and affect the nutrient absorption of plants, thus hindering plant growth and reducing yield. In this paper, the effects of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium on plant root diseases, the interaction of three nutrients on plant root diseases, and the mechanism of their effects on plant root diseases were summarized. This review provide ideas and methods for the effective prevention and control of plant root diseases from the perspective of regulating nutrients, and provide a theoretical basis for efficient utilization of nutrients and reducing environmental pollution.
