Charles R. Goeldner Article of Excellence Award

The Charles R. Goeldner Article of Excellence Award is named after the long-time and Founding Editor of the Journal of Travel Research. This prestigious annual award recognizes the article, published in the preceding year, which has been judged to make the greatest contribution to the tourism research literature in terms of its impact on tourism theory and management practice. The award recipient is determined by a panel of Editorial Board/Policy Board members and is presented each year at the Annual Travel and Tourism Research Association Conference.
