Zenobia is currently accepting PhD students interested in using the ORIGINS cohort to study child health and wellbeing, early intervention and healthy lifestyle promotion (focusing on healthy diets, healthy screen use, enhancing mental health in early childhood). Prospective students with a background in a related discipline (psychology, public health, health promotion) are encouraged to reach out. Research interests

Dr. Zenobia Talati is a Senior Research Fellow at The Kids Research Institute Australia. She is part of the ORIGINS Research and Translation Team and is involved the Flourishing Child (an ORIGINS sub-project). 

Her research focuses on promoting positive health behaviours, through a better understanding of the environmental and individual-level factors which influence these behaviours, particularly among preschool and primary school aged children and their parents. Her research finds direct application through partnerships with health agencies and not-for-profits where her findings can be used to inform health promotion programs and create healthier environments for children and their carers.
