Biography

I am Kurd from northern east of Syria. I have received my B. Sc. degree from the Plant Protection Department, Agricultural Engineering Faculty, Aleppo University in Syria. I received my M. Sc. from the same University in History of Applied Science. I worked for International Center for Agricultural Research in Dry Areas (ICARDA) for 5 years as a research assistant and then as a research associate on an Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) funded project to develop conservation agriculture in northern Iraq and Syria. I received an ACIAR John Allwright scholarship to undertake my PhD at The University of Western Australia. I commenced my PhD program on 23 July 2014.
