Personal profile

Current projects

My current research focuses on sustainable tourism and marine environmental conservation. The research places environmental issues into the Pacific coastal context of rising tourism demand and explores if it will be an opportunity for sustainable tourism in Pacific islands.

I specialise in survey-based research methods, non-market valuation and benefit-cost analysis. With a deep passion for the ocean and wildlife, my work aims to inform policy and practical strategies that balance tourism growth with environmental conservation.
