Biography

Wangcheng Zhang graduated from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology with a BEng degree in Civil Engineering in 2010, and obtained a MEng degree in Geotechnical Engineering at Tongji University in 2013. Following this, he joined the Centre for Offshore Foundation Systems firstly as an academic visitor for a year and then pursued a PhD at UWA, investigating the initiation mechanism and criteria for submarine landslides. Upon completion of PhD thesis in 2017, he worked for COFS as a Research Associate immediately.
