Personal profile

Wangcheng Zhang graduated from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology with a BEng degree in Civil Engineering in 2010, and obtained a MEng degree in Geotechnical Engineering at Tongji University in 2013. Following this, he joined the Centre for Offshore Foundation Systems firstly as an academic visitor for a year and then pursued a PhD at UWA, investigating the initiation mechanism and criteria for submarine landslides. Upon completion of PhD thesis in 2017, he worked for COFS as a Research Associate immediately.

Submarine Landslides; Slope stability; Strain localization
Geotechnical large deformation numerical modelling, include: large deformation finite element method (LDFE); discrete element method (DEM); computational fluid dynamics (CFD)

Fingerprint Fingerprint is based on mining the text of the person's scientific documents to create an index of weighted terms, which defines the key subjects of each individual researcher.
