Dr. Victor Matsubara is an Associate Professor who holds both a PhD and a Master’s degree from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. Throughout his academic career, he has gained substantial national and international experience, teaching Prosthodontics at a range of institutions. Dr Matsubara's dedication to academic excellence is reflected in his recognition as a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK). Additionally, he is a distinguished Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the Academy of Dentistry International.

His research expertise includes microbiology, biofilms, murine animal models, cell culture, and molecular biology. His current work focuses on developing alternative therapeutic strategies against oral pathogens, with a particular emphasis on probiotic-based approaches.
