Biography

Dr Victor Matsubara is an Academic staff, clinician at OHCWA, and a researcher with a PhD and a Masters degree from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Acquiring national and international academic experience throughout his career, he has taught Prosthodontics at different institutions over the past fourteen years. As a researcher, he has experience in microbiology, biofilms, murine animal models, cell culture, and molecular biology. His major focus has been on the development of alternative treatments against oral pathogens, especially using probiotics. Victor is currently working full-time at UWA Dental School as a Senior Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry.
