Personal profile

Biography

I am interested in understanding the evolution of behavioural, reproductive, and life-history traits in light of sexual selection and environmental changes. My current research projects aim to examine the long-term, intergenerational effects of endocrine disruptors in dung beetles, and livebearing fish.
My PhD research at the Australian National University focused on sexual selection and ageing in mosquitofish. I have a Masters degree in Zoology from the University of Dhaka where I studied the effect of host plant on butterfly toxicity.
