U. Manandhar received his PhD degree from Nanyang Technological University in 2019. From 2019 to 2020 he was a Research Fellow in the Electrical Engineering Department at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore where he was responsible for the universal hardware in the loop test platform design and implementation at clean energy reserach lab. From 2021 to 2022, he worked in SP-Group - NTU Joined Lab, project 4 where he developed a cost-effective inductive sensor for partial discharge measurement in distribution substation. He is currently working as research fellow at The University of Western Australia, Perth.

Dr. Manandhar’s research focuses primarily on hybrid energy storage system, advanced control methods for microgrids, hardware in the loop test platform design, partial discharge mesaurement and technologies, and power converter design.
