Biography

Tristan is a Lecturer in the Department of Management and Organisations at the UWA Business School, working with the Centre for Business Data Analytics, where he teaches on topics related to business intelligence, namely databases, visualisation and programming. Having trained and worked as a Software Engineer as well as having a PhD in Spatial Sciences, his research interests primarily focus on transport system analysis and modelling, as well as the novel use of software applications and systems to solve real-world problems. This has led to Tristan contributing towards work published in journal articles, book chapters, conference papers and numerous technical reports, primarily through his relationship with the Planning and Transport Research Centre (PATREC) with whom he has worked with on numerous research projects. As a Software Engineer, Tristan is experienced with many different modern software technologies and development techniques, primarily surrounding application development and data analysis, with these skills used to influence his teaching and research.

Transport Mode Choice Development using Perth Area Transport and Household Survey (PATHS) Data (with iMOVE CRC); Impact of e-Rideables on the Transport Task in WA (with iMOVE CRC).
