Tom collaborates closely with A/ Prof Tony Bakker and in their lab group, a range of experimental techniques are used to investigate whole muscle function, isolated myofibre function and intracellular Ca2+ signalling among others to elucidate muscle dysfunction mechanisms in disease states.
