Tianyi Long (CV: LongT_CV August.pdf) is currently a Lecturer in Human Resource Management at the University of Western Australia Business School. He received his PhD in management from Monash University, Australia in 2023.
His research interests include employee well-being-oriented HRM theories and practices, the intersection of positive psychology (e.g., resilience, mindfulness) with HRM, AI-HRM interactions, HR innovation, green HRM, talent management, and sustainability issues in HRM. Tianyi has published his research in high-tier (ABDC-A*/A, AJG4*, JCR Q1) journals, e.g., Journal of Construction and Engineering Management (ABDC-A*), Human Resource Management Journal (ABDC-A, CAJG/ABS4*, ranked 1/30 Industrial Relations & Labour), Human Resource Management Review (ABDC-A, Top5% Impact Factor), Journal of Business Research (ABDC-A, Top5% Impact Factor), among others. Tianyi serves as an editorial board member for the Journal of Management and Organization, the flagship journal of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management, reflecting the global recognition of his contributions to the management discipline.
With extensive teaching experience in HRM and data analysis, Tianyi currently serves as the Unit Coordinators for HRMT5502- People Analytics, HRMT5504- Introduction to Human Resource Management. His dedication to teaching excellence was recognised with a Teaching Excellence Award at UWA Business School in 2023.
