Biography
Associate Professor Ted Wilkes is a Nyungar man, with connections to the metropolitan area and the South West of Western Australia.
Associate Professor Wilkes is a former Ambassador for the Commissioner for Children and Young People and is a member of the Justice Reform Initiative of Western Australia. He has worked in public health for much of his working life and has an ongoing and continuing involvement in Indigenous public health issues across Australia.
Associate Professor Wilkes currently works as a Senior Cultural Adviser at the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare and as an Adjunct Associate Professor working closely with the TIMHWB research team.
