Biography
Dr Tanya Finnie is a global cultural strategist, keynote speaker and Director of RedHead Communications, working at the intersection of scholarship, leadership practice and lived experience. With a PhD in Cultural Leadership and professional experience across multiple regions and sectors, Tanya supports leaders to build culturally intelligent workplaces that perform, particularly in contexts shaped by rapid change, competing values, and complex stakeholder environments.
Tanya’s applied work focuses on cultural intelligence, inclusive leadership, cross-cultural communication, feedback systems, and the practical conditions that enable psychological safety without reducing accountability. She is known for translating evidence into tools leaders can use, including frameworks for bridging difference, reducing bias in decision-making, and strengthening collaboration in diverse teams.
She is the Founder of the Diversity and Inclusion Summit, a platform that convenes leaders, practitioners and community voices to advance courageous conversations and measurable change. Tanya is also a best-selling author and regular contributor to leadership and culture, bringing a future-focused, intersectional lens to the realities of leading across difference.
