Tanvir Ahmed is a Research Associate at the Department of Civil, Environmental and Mining Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Mathematical Sciences, UWA. He is currently working in two industrially funded projects with an aim to develop durable and low/zero-cement concretes and composites incorporating industrial wastes/by-products. He served as a lecturer in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Islamic University of Technology (IUT), Bangladesh for 5 years. Tanvir authored/ co-authored several peer reviewed journal articles and conference papers. He served as a reviewer for different international journals such as, Journal of Materials in Civil Engineering (ASCE), Construction and Building Materials, International Journal of Construction Management.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
