Biography
As an Administrative Officer (Finance) in UWA Business School, Tami is responsible for 1) managing the administration of financial matters relating to travel, reimbursements, accounts payable and receivable; 2) carrying the day-to-day and Month-End Accounting (journal, IFT, reconciliation); 3) managing Petty Cash; 4) completing the General Staff Casual Employment Agreement for Research Assistant contracts and processing timesheets of casual staff.
The range of responsibilities during Tami’s professional career include Cash Management (weekly Cash Call, Monthly, and Quarterly Forecast) of multiple currencies (AUD, USD, EURO, XPF, etc.), bank reconciliations, intercompany charges/journal, management of fixed asset register, BAS preparation, analysis of Profit and Loss, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Treasury, Tax Audits, Research in relation to Tax Consultant assignment, computation and preparation and filling various Tax Returns that include Withholding Tax, Corporate Tax, Value Added Tax, Employee Income Tax, Individual Tax Returns, and liaised with the relevant Tax Officers.
Tami completed a Bachelor of Commerce at Curtin University, majoring in Accounting & Finance.
