Personal profile

I completed my doctorate within the Discipline of English and Cultural Studies at the University of Western Australia in 2009. My dissertation was entitled, 'Representations of the Secular: Neutrality, spirituality and mourning in Australian and Canadian cultural politics.' I am now an Honorary Research Fellow within English and Cultural Studies.

Since 2006 I have tutored and guest lectured across UWA, Curtin University and Murdoch University in disciplines including cultural studies, English, anthropology and sociology, gender and sexualities, and media studies. I was also a Learning Skills Adviser with Student Services at UWA.

I currently work in the private sector as a social research and policy consultant. This includes projects focused on career education and development, transitions, lifelong learning, and vocational education and training.
