Siri leads the STUDYSmarter team, which provides a comprehensive suite of innovative and engaging academic skills services at UWA. These services develop the study, writing, communication, maths, English language and research skills of over 9,000 UWA students each year.
Siri has a particular interest in promoting international student engagement and success through the development of outstanding English language programs and resources.
Siri developed UWA’s award-winning Language and Cultural Exchange (LACE) program; developed, coordinated, taught and continues to support HUMA1901 and HUMA1902, first-year accredited units in English language and academic communication; co-developed Communication and Research Skills (CARS) and Academic Conduct Essentials (ACE); co-founded WA-AALL, a state branch of the Association for Academic Language and Learning; co-founded and led the UWA Toastmasters Club; co-developed and taught the WRITEStart: Communicating in Business, a full-semester program for students articulating from Chinese Universities; co-developed and teaches English Language Bootcamp; and co-facilitates WRITESmart drop-in services.
Siri's expertise has been recognised through numerous conference presentations and university, state and national awards.

2004/2005: Two Diversity Initiatives Fund Grants for establishing Language and Cultural Exchange (LACE), an intercultural friendship project for postgraduates and staff, and for extension and publicity of LACE project
