Biography

Dr Sascha Schediwy is an expert in ultra-stable frequency transfer via optical fibre, with experience on the development of high-precision astronomy and space instrumentation. Previously, at the University of Oxford, his working focused on phased array technology development for the Square Kilometre Array radio telescope; and now at UWA, he leads a small international team to construct the SKA telescope’s optical fibre frequency synchronisation system.
