Sarah Yeung is a PhD candidate in English and Literary Studies at UWA. Her research examines literary representations of haunting as a mode of aesthetic and ethical engagement with historical memory.
Sarah co-edited Zou Mat Je (做乜嘢), a collection of writing and visual artwork from artists across the Cantonese diaspora. They also co-edited the independent poetry collection Hello Keanu!, alongside Emily Sun.
Sarah is the Administrative Editor at Westerly Magazine.
Sarah has tutored the following units, as part of the FABLE Teaching Fellowship:
ENGL2401 Netflicks: Cinema and Long-form Television
ENGL2215 Modernism and the Avant-Garde
She has also taught ENGL1020 Text and Tradition and ENGL1040 World Literatures at The University of Notre Dame Australia (Fremantle Campus).
They have presented guest lectures in screen studies, Australian literature and cinema, graphic narratives, and speculative fiction.
