Biography

My PhD research is exploring the experiences of pregnant women & parents involved in child protection processes during pregnancy & following birth. It will centre parents' voices in the development of recommendations to enhance perinatal child protection processes across health, welfare, & legal systems. My values & research are informed by experiences living in developing & developed countries. I have worked in various research & knowledge exchange roles, mostly related to the health & wellbeing of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people. I'm committed to the goals of equity & social justice & seek to learn from & work in partnership with lived experience experts.
