Chair of the Royal Australian And New Zealand College of Psychiatrists' Binational Committee for the Section of Electroconvulsive Therapy and Neurostimulation. A qualified psychiatrist trained in Western Australia and Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, and International Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
In addition the role as clinician in the areas of Consultation Liaison, Neuropsychiatry, Emergency Psychiatry. I have clinical and research interest in the treatment resistant mood and anxiety disorders, psychosis, psychopharmacology, assessment and diagnosis of mental health issues in the medically ill, neuropsychiatric complications of neurological disorders with particular interest in Neuromodulation techniques (their efficacy and side effects) including Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) and transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS), their efficacy and side effects.
