Biography

Sabine has completed her studies of French Language Teaching at the University of Grenoble in France. Prior teaching at UWA, she has taught at the University of Grenoble and was engaged in various teaching roles in France and Western Australia. She currently is Lecturer and Convenor of French Studies at the University of Western Australia. She has received many award nominations for her teaching abilities and numerous Teaching and Learning grants. Her work aims to expand and challenge students to embrace a variety of cultures and thoughts. Her main research interests focus on language education, second language acquisition, learner motivation, teaching innovations and francophone cultures in the Pacific. She is currently working on a number of projects, including blended learning, student wellbeing and is actively involved in supporting student mobility and community engagement in the francophone Pacific region.
