Biography

I am a Chief Investigator on several research projects in environmental health and infectious diseases research areas and early childhood development. This research involves 3 PhD students (who I co-supervise), and a postgraduate research officer. I mentor several postgraduate researchers at the Telethon Kids Institute.

 

My expertise is in qualitative/participatory action and mixed methods research approaches.  My research focus is collaborative and translational. I work with researchers in universities across Australia including the University of Melbourne, Queensland University of Technology, and James Cook University, Murdoch University, Notre Dame Australia, University of Western Australia and Curtin University. I also work with key stakeholders including Aboriginal Controlled Medical Services and government agencies.
