Biography
Rosemary works as a Librarian in the Health & Medical Sciences Library at UWA providing research and teaching support to staff, students and researchers. Rosemary is currently involved in a number of library-wide teams, such as the ACE/CARS Team, the Referencing Support Working Group, and provides reference support across the libraries. She has worked in the Health and Medical Sciences Faculty since 2018. Prior to this she worked in Barry J. Marshall Library (Science Librarian) and the Reid Library (Business Librarian).
Roles and responsibilities
Rosemary provides expertise and assistance in areas such as:
- supporting academic staff to develop students' research and information skills and embedding information literacy within learning modules in the LMS
- UWA Library systems and resources such as OneSearch, Unit Readings, database searching, EndNote and the UWA Profiles & Research Repository
- literature and systematic review processes and information management; publishing strategically, including predatory publishing and open access publishing; keeping up to date with research in your area; research data storage and sharing; reference management software.
- referencing and referencing styles
Rosemary regularly liaises with staff and students to provide extensive research and study support also working with colleagues across the Library to deliver services for the University community.
