Biography

Dr Rosalie Thackrah has post graduate qualifications in anthropology and education and taught health science students at Curtin University in Perth and Singapore for over 25 years. She was a joint recipient of an Australian Learning and Teaching Council Award for Excellence in Indigenous Education in 2010.  Rosalie is an experienced qualitative researcher with overlapping interests in health disparities, Aboriginal women's health, cultural safety in service delivery, health professional education, and rural and remote health. These research interests were pursued at the Western Australian Centre for Rural Health, UWA over the last decade resulting in numerous publications in these fields.
