Riko Stevens is a Lecturer in Economics at the University of Notre Dame Australia (UNDA; Fremantle Campus) and an Adjunct Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia (UWA). He holds a PhD in Economics from UWA as well as First Class B.Com (Hons) and M.Com degrees in Economics from the University of Auckland. Riko's main research interest is the history of economic thought with a particular focus on the intersection of economics and finance. His PhD thesis on the treatment of speculation in the Marshallian tradition of economic thought was awarded the 2022 History of Economic Thought Society of Australia (HETSA) Prize for Best Doctoral Thesis. He is also currently the Treasurer of the Economic Society of Australia (WA Branch).
