Biography
Dr Renata Casado is a Lecturer in the Management and Organisations department at the UWA Business School. She obtained her PhD degree from the University of Western Australia in 2017, after completing MBA degrees in marketing (IBMEC, Brazil) and organisational studies (Coppead/UFRJ, Brazil).
Renata's research focuses on the labour market and career experiences of minority and historically disadvantaged groups, including (but not limited to) migrants and women. Renata has been teaching units at undergraduate and postgraduate levels on Strategic Human Resource Management, Employment Relations, Careers, and Diversity & Inclusion. She is currently the course coordinator for the Master's of Human Resources and Employment Relations.
Renata has over 15 years of business experience. Before finishing her PhD, Renata worked as a manager and consultant in the areas of corporate marketing and human resource management.
