Biography

Dr Renata Casado is a Lecturer in the Management and Organisations department at the UWA Business School. She obtained her PhD degree from the University of Western Australia in 2017, after completing MBA degrees in marketing (IBMEC, Brazil) and organisational studies (Coppead/UFRJ, Brazil). 

Renata is interested in topics related to the disciplines of both human resource management and employment relations, particularly talent management, skilled migration and workplace diversity. She has been teaching units at undergraduate and postgraduate levels on Strategic Human Resource Management, Employment Relations, Managing Diversity and Management. 

Renata has over 15 years of business experience. Prior to finishing her PhD, Renata worked as a manager and consultant in the areas of corporate marketing and human resources.
