Biography
I am a Coastal Engineer and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Oceans Graduate School (UWA). I hold a PhD degree in Coastal Engineering (UWA, Australia), a Master degree in Coastal Engineering (TU Delft, Netherlands), and a Bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering (UFRJ, Brazil). Prior to my PhD, I worked as a coastal engineer at the port department of design companies. My current research focuses on improving the understanding of how waves and artificial reefs interact and influence coastal processes, which will be used to optimise the design guidelines of artificial reefs.
