Personal profile

Biography

With a rich background in anthropology and a commitment to enhancing Aboriginal health and cultural heritage, I currently serve as a Collections Manager at the Berndt Museum, University of Western Australia. Our team values innovation, collaboration, and respect for Indigenous knowledge, which are central to my personal and professional ethos.

I also contribute in-depth expertise to the South Australian Aboriginal Governance Board of the Australian Alliance for Indigenous Genomics. Over the past year, my role on the Aboriginal Governance Board has focused on promoting Indigenous data sovereignty and developing governance models. This has involved strategic leadership and advising on culturally relevant health structures, ensuring the centrality of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leadership within the Australian Alliance for Indigenous Genomics.
