Dr Raquel Scartezini's main research areas focus on teacher education, the dialogical construction of teacher professional identity and school leadership from the perspective of cultural psychology, dialogical science and decolonial studies. Her corpus of publications addresses the complexity of the aspects that underlie the teaching profession and the consequent challenges for teacher education programmes in diverse contexts and educational levels. This research line encompasses a range of subthemes such as educational reforms, developing countries, international education exchange and language and educational policies.
