Biography
Mr. Rajan Bhandari is a PhD student at the School of Population & Global Health. He has been awarded with Australian Government Research Training Program Stipend Scholarship and University of Western Australia International Fee Scholarship. His primary areas of interest are child health and development, reproductive, maternal, and newborn health, and health systems research. His current focus is on understanding the role of health workers to strengthen nurturing care through the heath system in Nepal. He earned his Master of Public Health (MPH) from the Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University, Nepal, in 2016. Previously, Rajan worked at Save the Children International (SCI) from 2016 to 2024 where he led research, monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning for various health projects across Nepal.
