Roles and responsibilities

Sole responsibility for the management and delivery of the SPIRIT initiative at the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR), in both outreach and science.

Funding overview

$50,000 (ICRAR & School of Physics) for the establishment of the SPIRIT I telescope.
$60,000 (Hawaiian donation) for the deployment of SPIRIT II

Design and deployment of a robotised spectroscope for SPIRIT.

Delivery of all SPIRIT professional learning to teachers and students at UWA.


Design and construction of robotic telescopes for education and research, including the creation and delivery of supporting learning programs for teachers and students.
