Roles and responsibilities
Sole responsibility for the management and delivery of the SPIRIT initiative at the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR), in both outreach and science.
Funding overview
$50,000 (ICRAR & School of Physics) for the establishment of the SPIRIT I telescope.
$60,000 (Hawaiian donation) for the deployment of SPIRIT II
$20,000 (SPICE, ICRAR, Physics) for the deployment of SPIRIT II
$30,000 SPIRIT 3 donation
$40,000 SPIRIT 4 donation
$2.5M SPIRIT 5 & 6 donation plus program funding (0.7m and 1.0m telescopes, observatory and program funding for 5 years)
