Personal profile

Research

My current research examines the cognitive mechanisms underlying emotional dysfunction, with a specific focus on cognitive mechanisms associated with attentional processes. I have a particular interest in the measurement of these processes and ensuring the reliability and validity of these measures. My current work involves testing new methods of measuring inhibitory attentional control and attentional biases to threat using newly developed tasks, with the aim of making reliable and valid methods of assessing these processes more accessible to future researchers.
