Research interests
As doctoral researcher, Oliver investigates the continuities of antisemitic narratives across historical and digital media, with a particular focus on audience–media interactions, collective memory, and the transformation of antisemitic stereotypes into contemporary digital disinformation. His research trajectory reflects a sustained intellectual engagement with questions of cultural change, societal transformation and historical continuity. Drawing on a strong academic foundation in marine and environmental science, combined with extensive professional experience in government, consulting and industry, he applies methodological rigour, interdisciplinary expertise and analytical depth to his research topics. Bilingual in German and English, he brings expertise in intercultural understanding and analysis, academic communication, and the commitment to advancing knowledge of how historical narratives are reshaped in modern contexts.
