Biography
Clinical Senior Lecturer, UWA Medical School, The University of Western Australia.
In 2013 I participated in my first Clinical Training and Evaluation Centre (CTEC) run course, and since 2016 I have been consistently Facilitating and Convening on a number of these CTEC courses including the JDocs Introduction to Surgical Skills and Foundations of Minimal Access Surgery, and The Cutting Edge Essential Surgical Skills, Managing Skin and Soft Tissue Injuries and Introductory GP Wound Suturing. I’ve also had the opportunity to both Facilitate and Convene on the UWA 2yr Medical Student Suturing workshops.
I will continue to avail myself to offer teaching support to CTEC through the coming years. I intend to broaden my scope to include facilitating on the JDocs Emergency Procedures and Core Skills Laparoscopic General Surgery.
I am deeply honoured to be receiving a 2025 CTEC Distinguished Service Award.
2025 marks a quarter century of Excellence in Medical and Surgical Skills Training at CTEC.

Experienced Surgical Assistant with a demonstrated history of working in both Public and Private hospitals in WA and Interstate. Skilled in General Surgery, Gynaecology Oncology, Colorectal, Upper GI/Bariatrics, Urology, Orthopaedics and Robotic Surgery; and with a keen interest in Medical Education and Research.
