I joined UWA as lecturer in the School of Social Sciences in 2015, where I am currently Korean Studies major coordinator. I hold an M.A. and a PhD in Korean as a Foreign Language and Culture Education from Korea University, Seoul.
Before joining UWA I was full time lecturer at Sogang University Korean Language Education Center.

My research deals with the pedagogy of Korean language and culture.
In particular, at the moment I am working on projects related to learner's individual differences (motivation) and emotions (anxiety) in Korean language learning and teaching.
