Biography
Nada Eltaiba is an Adjunct Research Fellow at the School of Allied Health. Before that, Nada was a Senior Lecturer in Social Work and Social Policy. Currently, Nada is employed as an Associate Professor in the Social Work Department at the School of Applied Humanities and Social Sciences (SAHSS) at the German Jordanian University in Jordan.
Nada's research interests include mental health, cross-cultural practice, religion, and spirituality. She has also conducted research on teaching social work, ethics, and narrative therapy.
Nada has extensive experience as a social work practitioner in health and community settings in Australia, Qatar and Jordan.
Teaching is an area that Nada is passionate about. For Nada, teaching in social work programs is an opportunity to share knowledge and experiences. It is the starting point for developing a professional social work identity.
Nada has taught in several social work programs in Australia and overseas, including the University of Western Australia, Curtin University, Al-Balqa University in Jordan, Qatar University, and Doha Institute for Graduate Research in Qatar.
