Biography

Montana has a Masters in Agricultural Science specialising in Genetics & Breeding from UWA. She has a strong interest in livestock breeding and maximising on-farm productivity through genetics, management, and nutrition. She enjoys taking an interdisciplinary approach to develop novel solutions to complex problems.

 

Montana has expertise in stakeholder engagements and data gathering, including conducting surveys and interviews as well as data collection and analysis for quantitative genetics. Originally from a farming town, she enjoys interacting with producers and looking for ways to boost the adoption of research outputs to enable increased utilisation of relevant practices.
