Personal profile

Biography

I am a trained physical geographer, and my research spans karst hydrology, palaeoclimate, fire, and water resources and security. I completed my PhD in Karst Hydrology and Speleothem Palaeoclimatology at The University of Western Australia in 2018 and have since held research positions with the Queensland Department of Natural Resources, University College Dublin, UNSW, and, most recently, the Max Planck Institute for Chemistry in Germany. I have a strong interest in both fundamental and applied research, with a focus on process-based studies that can inform evidence-based policy and support the sustainable management of natural environments.

Currently, I am a postdoctoral fellow at UWA, within the Centre for Water and Spatial Science, contributing to the Ripple Effect project.
