Director, BPMRI Busselton Health Study Centre:
Based in Busselton, he oversees all operational aspects of the BPMRI Busselton Health Study Centre including community engagement and recruitment strategies, staff, project and protocol management, data collection, collation and quality control processes. As Director of a small, regional, independent research facility with limited access to resources and financial support enjoyed by larger institutions, Dr Hunter by necessity has taken on substantial multi-faceted administrative and management roles in addition to his research activities. This has ensured the successful continuous running of the Busselton survey centre since 2005, resulting in ongoing engagement with the Busselton community and promotion of the Busselton Health Study resource for multi-disciplinary collaborative research opportunities.
