Biography

Megan Price is a Lecturer in International Relations specialising in the politics of violence and legitimacy. Prior to joining the University of Western Australia, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Sheffield in the UK. Her 2022 monograph in the Routledge Contemporary Security Studies Series explores how states justify domestic armed action to foreign audiences. The book contains detailed case studies of armed conflicts in Indonesia and Sri Lanka. Megan has also published peer reviewed work in Review of International Studies, Ethics & International Affairs, Australian Journal of International Affairs, Global Studies Quarterly, and Critical Studies on Terrorism. She completed her PhD in the Department of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Queensland.
