This PhD project aims to uncover the petrological controls on the Gonneville Ni-Co-PGE deposit, using extensive data to study magmatic sulfide systems. The research will refine mineralogical characterisation and metallurgical processes, integrating machine learning for advanced data analysis.
Matthew has worked for 15 years across mining, exploration and resource estimation. He was part of the team that discovered Savannah North, Ni-Cu deposit in the Eastern Kimberly, Western Australia and the Gonneville PGE-Ni-Cu deposit near Perth, Western Australia.
Matthew has a BSc with Honors in Geology from the University of Durham, UK and a MSc in Mining Geology from the Camborne School of Mines, Uk.
