Personal profile

Biography

My research covers a broad spectrum of hydraulics and experimental fluid dynamics, with a focus on turbulence, mixing and transport (in both steady and wave-driven flows). In particular, I have experience in fluid-roughness interactions, sediment transport and scour protection, coastal processes, wave-current interactions and physical modelling of complex systems. I use a variety of tools for furthering my research including analytical, numerical and advanced laboratory techniques (including both intrusive and non-intrusive PIV and PTV methods).
